Late-Round Fantasy Football 2026 Sleepers

Terrance Ferguson Is A Studly Stud …

Being called a “stud” by your coach is always a good sign.

But if the Los Angeles Rams truly believe in Terrance Ferguson, why follow up a second-round investment with another tight end like Max Klare this year?

Simple. Competition is not a bad thing, it is a message. Nothing is handed to you in this league.

To Ferguson’s credit, he is responding the right way. He has attacked the offseason, putting in extra work in strength programs to earn a larger role. And when the opportunity was there last season, the flashes have followed.

In games where he saw 40% or more of the snaps, his impact showed up.

What stands out most is his usage down the field. Ferguson was the league leader in deep targets (passes of 20 or more yards) with 15, the kind of high-value looks that can swing fantasy weeks.

That is not by accident. That is how Sean McVay designs touches for athletic playmakers.

His current ADP puts him outside the first 15 rounds, which might feel uncomfortable as your starting tight end. But if you miss out on top-tier options like Brock Bowers or Trey McBride, Ferguson becomes a strong Plan B with real upside baked in.

Darnell Mooney + Matt Nagy Might Work …

Situation matters in fantasy football, and it looks like Darnell Mooney may have quietly found himself in a better one. Let’s take a closer look.

Pairing up with Matt Nagy, a coach who is not afraid to push the ball downfield, fits exactly what Mooney does best, which means possible upside. Now look at the surrounding pieces. The New York Giants have a solid backfield, but nothing that consistently pulls volume from the passing game.

Speaking of targets, Malik Nabers will command his share, no question. But after that, the competition opens up. Isaiah Likely adds another presence, and Malachi Fields is someone to monitor, but neither feels like a true roadblock to Mooney carving out a role.

Then there is the motivation factor. Mooney is just 28 years old and coming off an underwhelming season, landing him in a prove-it situation on a one-year deal. That usually brings out a different level of urgency.

This is where fantasy edges are found. Paying attention to these subtle shifts can uncover players with real upside at almost no cost on draft day … and those are the picks your leaguemates will be calling “lucky” when they are getting knocked out in Week 14.

Tua Tagovailoa Don’t Turn The Ball Over, Too Much…

No, I did not stutter, and shame on us if we do not at least kick the tires on Tua Tagovailoa in drafts. Some kickers are making more than him in 2026. That is motivation on its own to show out and prove doubters wrong.

Now factor in the uncertainty around Michael Penix coming off injury, and there is a real path for Tua to open the season as the guy in a loaded offense.

He has weapons at every level. Expect easy checkdowns to Bijan Robinson, while Kyle Pitts and Drake London work the middle, right in Tua’s accuracy wheelhouse.

Last year was ugly, no doubt. But this feels like a reset. Now he has to prove it.
