In today's Fantasy Life Newsletter, presented by Hims:
After lackluster scoring in Week 1, the NFL got its mojo back in a big way for Week 2.
Before SNF even kicked off, there had been 16 more TDs in Week 2 compared to Week 1 as offenses finally found their groove.
The Detroit Lions led the charge, dropping 52 on an overmatched Bears squad. If you went up against any Jared Goff (34 fp) and Amon-Ra. St. Brown (34.7) stacks, well, thereās always next week!
Not far behind them ⦠and I still canāt believe Iām about to type this ⦠was Russell Wilson (31.3 fp) and Malik Nabers (33.2). Your eyes do not deceive youāthe same Russell Wilson who looked like he should get benched in Week 1 is currently the QB2 on the week after throwing for 450 yards and three TDs on a hapless Cowboys secondary.
Nabers was phenomenalācheck out this sick TD catchābut Wilson had WanDale Robinson (24.2) cooking as well.
Some of the scoring came with a significant cost, though. The Bengals put up 31 on the Jaguars and JaāMarr Chase dropped 29.5 fp, but they lost Joe Burrow (turf toe + torn ligaments) in the process.
Donāt let the box score fool you, Jake Browning will not get to face the Jaguars every week. This is a big blow for a team about to enter a brutal stretch of games.

It seems like the Vikings ran out of fireworks in Week 1 after they put up a Sunday Night dud in a 22-6 loss to the Falcons.

After a rough start to the season, the calls were coming for the Giants to bench Russell Wilson after Week 1.
Calling what happened next a surprise would be a gross understatement.
He responded by passing for the most yards on the week in Week 2, in what turned into the fantasy game of the week between the Giants and Cowboys. He went 30-for-41 and passed for 450 yards with three TDs and one INT and rushed for 23 yards on three carries. His interception came towards the end of overtime, allowing Brandon Aubrey to kick a 46-yard field goal in a 37-34 win. Not only did Wilson allow Malik Nabers to feast with nine catches for 167 yards with two TDs on 13 targets, but WanāDale Robinson showed he can also win deep, catching eight passes for 142 yards with a TD on 10 targets.
The Giants backfield was a surprise as well, with Cam Skattebo playing more snaps than Tyrone Tracy and playing a bigger role. Skattebo rushed 11 times for 45 yards with a TD and caught two of three targets for 14 yards, while Tracy had five carries for 15 yards and caught four of five targets for 36 yards.
These are only some of the biggest surprises from Week 2. Adam Ronis rounded up all of them, as well as the biggest disappointments, in one review of the slate. Letās pick up on the other side of that Giants game ā¦
