Looking to grab some possible hidden gems off your dynasty scrapheap? Jake Trowbridge and Sam Wallace have four players worth adding.

If you're actively reading dynasty fantasy football articles during this portion of the offseason, you are a true degenerate. Welcome; let me pull up a chair for you. There are always things you can be doing to improve your roster's future outlook and February is the perfect time for some good old fashioned dumpster diving.
Jake and Sam each highlight a pair of players who might be lingering on the waiver wire in your dynasty league, depending on the size of your rosters. Each is valued outside of the top-300 overall players by general consensus.
With Romeo Doubs likely to leave in free agency, there will be the usual (and deluded) calls for the Packers to trade for a superstar like A.J. Brown or sign a trusty veteran like Mike Evans. But the team has too many other needs and not enough money for that kind of pipe dream.
If everyone stays healthy, Green Bay will lean on a solid trio of Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Matthew Golden. (To be fair…yeah that’s a big time “if.”) And that’s in addition to the increasingly studly Tucker Kraft.
With all that potential firepower, why in the hell am I recommending you add Savion Williams to your dynasty roster?? It’s mostly because the third round pick has a pretty sneaky path to playing time. See, in his final year at TCU, Williams racked up 51 rushing attempts and another 60 receptions, accumulating just under a thousand scrimmage yards. In limited pro action last year, Williams actually saw more rushing attempts than targets. And there, my friends, is our glimmer of hope for fantasy relevance.
Josh Jacobs has garnered the second most touches of any running back since 2020 and looked downright zapped last season. If he’s truly wearing down, we could see a Ty Montgomery-esque sophomore season out of Williams in 2026. Not only would that drastically boost his dynasty trade value, but it would set him up nicely for 2027 when Watson, Reed, and Dontayvion Wicks’ contracts are all set to wrap up.
Why are you booing me? I’m right! If you know one thing about pending free agent Greg Dulcich, it’s that he spends more time with his team doctors than those doctors spend with their own families. The 25 year old has suited up for just 31 games across four seasons, suffering a litany of injuries.
But here’s something else you should know: The guy’s a small sample size stud. In 10 healthy games his rookie season, Dulcich ranked 6th among all tight ends in yards per reception. Last year with the Dolphins, he ranked 4th in yards per target and 2nd in YAC per reception, only behind Tucker Kraft. And in three games with Quinn Ewers under center, Dulcich was second on the team in receiving yards.
Are those statistics a bit flimsy? Maybe. But this is a Day 2 draft pick who’s been sidelined for so many games that we really have no idea how high his ceiling is. The Dolphins are unlikely to bring back Darren Waller but could retain Dulcich on an extremely team-friendly contract. So unless they also go hard in the paint for someone like David Njoku, I like the odds that we see a delayed breakout from the former UCLA standout.
Also, may I remind you we’re at the bottom of a dumpster here. Sometimes you have to brush the dirt off a bagel and hope it doesn’t give you food poisoning. Tight ends are like that sometimes.
I'll admit, I'm a bit of a sucker for stellar athletic profiles and small sample sizes. If you're looking for another deep dynasty stash, Devontez Walker might just be your guy. Drafted by the Ravens in Round 4 back in 2024, here are his combine metrics:
Coupled with his 6' 2"/193 lb. frame and his solid offensive environment, there's plenty to like about his chances moving forward.
The Ravens are in a transition phase right now. New head coach Jesse Minter and new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle represent significant changes from the old guard. The receiving group is led by Zay Flowers with veteran DeAndre Hopkins and emerging TE Isaiah Likely both set to hit free agency.
We'll have to see how the new coaching staff meshes with Lamar Jackson and if they open up the passing game a bit more. Jake actually wrote a stellar newsletter a few days ago highlighting the new Doyle/Jackson pairing. Here's what he had to say:
Declan Doyle probably isn’t a name you’re familiar with, but in addition to sounding like a superhero’s alliterative alter ego, he was the offensive coordinator in Chicago last year. Lamar Jackson with a more aggressive play caller?? This duo could feed generations of fantasy managers. Gene wrote about him in his OC rankings, too.
That's more than enough for me. Walker is worth the last spot on your dynasty bench.
Remember when I said I'm a fan of strong athletic profiles? Well, Isaac Guerendo checks every box and then some. Not only does his profile jump off the page (screen), but he's flashed top-end efficiency already and is in the world's most fantasy-fantasy backfield.
His metrics include:
Like Walker, he was a Round 4 selection back in 2024 after the 49ers snagged him early on Day 4. He immediately garnered some value in his rookie season when he tallied 84 rushing attempts for 420 yards, and four TDs. He also racked up 15 receptions (16 targets) for an additional 152 yards.
However, he didn't see a single touch in Year 2. Not one.
The main reason? Christian McCaffrey played in just four games in 2024 and he played in all 17 games in 2025.
I'm sure we'll find plenty of time to debate CMC heading into the 2026 season and whether he can stay healthy again after winning Comeback Player of the Year. Regardless, Guerendo is someone I am more than willing to stash as he's in an environment that can truly maximize his skillset.
