Patrick Mahomes And Chiefs Are Ready To Return To Old (New) Heights For Fantasy Football

Is the recent trend or his overall body of work the stronger indicator of what is to come in 2025?
The more I draft—and the more I think about it—I believe Mahomes and co. present an incredible value proposition in drafts.
Sure, Travis Kelce is rapidly approaching an age cliff, but this sets up as the strongest pass catching corps the team has had since the glory years of Kelce and Tyreek Hill. Mahomes seems to agree:
"It's not going to be just one person. It's going to be the entire offense going out there and showcasing what the Kansas City Chiefs truly are. … I think it is going to be the [Chiefs'] deepest [receiver room]."

I still find Rashee Rice’s price a little frothy (and he’s only gotten more expensive since this piece), but for me, Xavier Worthy is the skeleton key who unlocks the upside of this entire offense. He averaged 17.1 PPR points per game (WR15) from Weeks 11 through the Super Bowl and added a much-needed vertical element to the offense.
And now we get to see all of them—Mahomes, Worthy, Kelce, Rice—on the field together for a full seventeen games. Good luck trying to prevent Rice and Kelce from destroying you underneath while Worthy is blazing down the sideline.
Don’t be a prisoner of regency bias on this one. Zoom out on the chart and enjoy the forthcoming bounceback.

A Year Away From Being a Year Away …
Timing is everything in dynasty fantasy football. Throw a dart on a Day 3 running back like Bucky Irving, then watch him take over his team’s backfield in the late portion of the season and you have a league winner. Well, it can take some good health and an OC realizing it’s best to put the ball in his best players’ hands. That’s all.
Sam Wallace takes out his crystal ball and looks into the future on which players could be a year away. Or in the case of someone like Jarquez Hunter, could he be a year away from being a year away? And will fantasy managers have the patience to wait out if it will happen?👇🏼
