Ian Hartitz examines the Philadelphia Eagles for fantasy football ahead of the 2026 NFL season.

The Eagles won a little something called the Super Bowl in 2024, so yeah, expectations were pretty high entering last season! Unfortunately, an increasingly stale offense struggled to catch its stride throughout the season, leading to a first-round home playoff exit to the injury-riddled 49ers.

Of course, new year, new Birds, and there are *three* BIG differences about this season's squad:
What follows is a fantasy-focused team preview of the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of the 2026 season. Make sure to check out Fantasy Life's rankings hub for updated player ranks all year long.
As always: It's a great day to be great.
While 2025 (18.7, QB7) was a bit of a down year for the former Super Bowl MVP, it was literally the first season as a starter that Hurts failed to average at least 20 fantasy points per game.
Many pointed to the Eagles' declining to use the tush push as much as the primary culprit, but that's not entirely accurate.
New playcaller, no problem for Hurts
Hopefully! 2025's 2,283 total yards and 15 scores were good for RB1 status in fantasy land, but sadly, the encore (1,413 yards, 9 TD, RB15 in PPR points per game) wasn't exactly what loyal fantasy managers had in mind.
Saquon is ready to party like it's 2024
Hell yeah, brother.
The numbers tell you that Smith has worked as the WR25 in PPR points per game since entering the league in 2021. That's sandwiched between Jaylen Waddle and DJ Moore. The man is really good. That's not up for debate. But you know what? My eyes tell me the man is actually already GREAT.
Skinny Batman is breaking out to another level
Credit to Goedert for scoring 13 touchdowns in 16 games (including playoffs) last season, although the 31-year-old veteran also averaged a career-low 9.9 yards per reception. In fact, 8 of those 13 scores came from inside the 5-yard line, and a look at the film reveals that the level of difficulty wasn't exactly sky-high on many of them.
Can Dallas be the No. 2 target in Philly?
Win total prediction: The Eagles have won 9, 14, 11, 14, and most recently 11 games during Nick Sirianni's five seasons as head ball coach. While it's not safe to assume this offense is better off in 2026 than it was in 2025, the front office made enough personnel changes to believe it's possible, and this Vic Fangio-led defense (again) looks rather loaded. Give me OVER 10.5 wins for the most complete team in the NFC East.
Bold fantasy call: This Eagles rushing attack gets back to being elite, producing a familiar top-5 fantasy finish for Saquon Barkley. ADDITIONALLY, Tank Bigsby will post top-15 numbers if forced into action due to Barkley missing any time.
Last season predictions: OVER 11.5 wins (whoops), and DeVonta Smith to outscore A.J. Brown in full-PPR land for the first time (good call, IDIOT).
