Each week, Cooterdoodle will be breaking down all the pain and punishment that transpires in our very own BWW Punishment Eliminator League. 

18 will enter, but 17 will leave with their tails between their legs as they are forced to face a season-ending punishment.

BWW Punishment Eliminator League

We’re moving on to Week 10. It’s dwindling down to the final half of eliminations. The punishment gods have spoken once again! Today we’ll have a full recap of:

But the rules are fairly simple: SURVIVE or face the consequences (read: the Punishment Generator).

Questioning Everything

Do you guys remember the off-season? Times were simpler then, weren’t they?

When we were sure Justin Jefferson or Ja’Marr Chase were the only answers for “Who is the 1.01? Before QB injuries piled up and backfields became murky. Before Taysom Hill was scoring similarly to Travis Kelce. 

Like I said, times were simpler then. Now, it’s not uncommon for all of us to wake up on Monday mornings feeling like a quintessential Ben Affleck meme.

Maybe Week 10 will be better, right? Our first-round picks will take us to victory… perhaps? 

But for now, let’s talk about Week 9.

Week 9 Results

The results from Week 9 are in and boy are they bad.

Well, maybe not all of the results. But there is one specific part that truly hurts to look at. Well,, you’ll see what I mean. Let’s show the board.

Here’s how the league did this week, with some added context of risers and fallers:

We started with 18, but now we have been cut down to nine. And for some reason, I’m starting to feel pretty bad about this little game that we play.

Things were fun and game when everyone else was getting eliminated. But now, you know… it hurts. And if you’ve been keeping up with the league, this week was across the board bad for all teams. On average the scores were down (aside from Geoff Ulrich, obviously). 

But like parents with a newborn, the generator never sleeps.

Nine are moving safely into Week 10. But someone really cool and hip and young didn’t make it out from Week 9. And it’s time they pay…

As we know, the dreaded eliminator is waiting in the (Buffalo Wild)wings to come for us all. And this week, it came for me, Cooter Doodle.

Proof of Punishment (PP)

It’s finally time for what you’ve all been waiting for. The big PP reveal. 

The Punishment Generator results were rolled out prior to Week 9 and revealed that the loser would have to complete the NFL combine drills. What do those include? OH, I’LL TELL YA!

Note: I tried to get this done on a tried and true track, but the logistics didn’t work out. So here you have it, my homemade NFL combine(Cooter’s Version). Please forgive the camera woman.

• Vertical jump
• Bench Press
• Broad Jump
• And my popular demand: The Wonderlic Test

I’ve teased this punishment over the last week. I had to mentally prepare and pump myself up. 

But without further adieu, here’s Cooter Doodle’s Week 9 punishment!

Nitty Gritty Breakdown

• Teams remaining: 9
• Teams eliminated: Marcas, Freedman, Jonathan, Ian, Waz, Kendall, Chris, Jake & Cooter
• Punishment on Deck: That’s Not Going to Taste Good

With Cooter’s elimination, we’re on to a new beginning. And we’re unfortunately faced with another few days of sweating it out while we await the results from a new week of agony.

On to Week 10

As for the survivors: One more down. 9 eliminations to go.

How punishments are decided:

• Generate a random punishment with our Punishment Generator
• Announce the punishment to the league before kickoff
• Boot the loser from the league once the games have concluded
• Collect Proof of Punishment (PP)
• Expose everything on FantasyLife.com

We won’t know who has to pay the price until the games conclude on Monday night. 

But we do know that someone is going to have to change their online identity for a substantial amount of time, because the Punishment Generator has spoken. Drumroll, please…

That’s right, the team with the lowest score from Week 10 will have to eat something of the league’s choosing.  For the sake of simplicity, we’re going to allow the top three scorers from Week 10 to decide what the food choices will be.

I hope these losers are hungry!
